Ascension Day Camp

I call you friends. -Jesus Christ

We are happy to announce the return for our Ascension Catholic Parish Summer Day Camps.

​

The goal of the day camps is to help our youth grow in their friendship with Jesus Christ and each other. This is done through a variety of fun faith-filled activities done in teams. Some activities include Gospel reflection, Mass, Games, Virtue Talks, Saint talks, Adoration, Rosary, opportunity for confession, scavenger hunts, various competitions, arts and crafts, and skits. The camps begin with Mass at 9 am to 3 pm.

As a chance to grow in servant leadership, youth (grades 8-12) who wish to lead the teams and run the activities may sign up for the Leadership Camp.

For adults who wish to assist with organizing, running or chaperoning., please read the requirements below and then contact Connie at resource@ascensionparish.ca.

We Are Now Looking For Camp Volunteers!

Requirements

Please download, fill and submit the following documents.

* The estimated time to complete these forms (not including Preasidium and the police check) is approximately 1 hour.

Commitment

Camp Dates:

  • Leadership Camp: Tue, Jul 7 - July 10

  • Entering Grades 5 - 7: Mon, July 13 - July 17

  • Entering Grades 3 - 4: Mon, July 20 - July 24

 

*For Parent Volunteers, a minimum of 3 days is required to qualify for the Camp Discounts.

 

*Reimbursements will be issued once the camps have concluded.

Registrations for the Day Camps Will Open Once Our Adult Volunteers Have Been Finalized.
